 Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas break with loved ones and also took a little bit of 'time out' for yourself. Local hall classes are back in full swing from Wed 6 Jan, kicking off with Julz's Bracken Ridge SS Wed evening class 6.30pm. I am busy from 4 Jan offering Kids outdoor, school holiday classes as an initiative of Brisbane City Council and Moreton Bay Regional Council. Bookings have been coming in thick and fast for these during the break, so it's good to see we have some eager, energetic kids in our community excited to bust a move during the school holiday period. As these classes are held in local parks and beautiful surrounds, it is also a great opportunity for families to 'kick back' with a coffee or similar in the background and enjoy a bit of 'R & R' while the little ones are having fun. As we continue classes within a COVID safe environment, I will be trialling a QR Code sign in. Electronic record keeping is being rolled out in the hospitality industry etc so I'm sure in time, this will be the preferred method amongst most industries. In fact, local councils have already stated that this is their preferred method for holiday classes and beyond. I will have the QR code printed for scan/capture from your phone at point of entry. Of course, our paper sign in sheet will still be available as a backup during the transition and a huge thanks to Miss Gena for her beautiful pens last year. In addition, I sincerely thank you for your patience with these new systems and procedures that of course are always evolving as we respond to government guidelines. 10 Visit Class Pass incentive to beat Feb price rise: As you are all aware, I have kept the Casual class fee of $10 for many years. Due to rising costs, I have had to incur a small price increase for classes, moving forward. Effective Feb 1, Casual class fee will be $12 and 10 visit pass will only rise to $85 (you will note these passes were originally printed as $90). I have tried to make this increase as 'pain free' as possible and of course and absolutely, current 10 visit passes will be honoured and valid. So the message here is, January is the best time ever to purchase a 10-visit pass while they are still only $80. Thank you so much for your understanding on this. Come and join our Amazing Miss Julz as we celebrate her 10yr Zumba Instructor Anniversary on Wed 13 Jan during usual class time 6.30pm-7.30pm. Renowned for her inspiring playlists and 'What's Up' style, this is definitely going to be a night to remember. Event page details here...  Back to school with your own musical instrument: Can you believe that 'back to school' is nearly upon us? We have been busy over the Christmas break seeing some beautiful pre-loved instruments going to some very keen, young musicians. Stock is coming and going daily so we try to update stock lists as quickly as possible. ***Don't forget I also sell print music and accessories.***  Can't wait to see everyone soon.. AWWWYEAH!

Hello Energetic Music Family! Well 2020 is nearly behind us and I don't know about you, but I can't wait to kick off 2021 with a fresh and focused perspective. Sadly, we couldn't have our 'End of Year Celebration' this year due to COVID-19 restraints and the fact that I book our venues months in advance to secure a very special experience. This booking procedure was not possible this year to uncertainties at the time. Hopefully, if things continue to progress safely for Queensland in 2021, we will have so much to celebrate and be thankful for at our 'End of Year Celebration 2021'. (I'm excited already lol) I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your tremendous assistance in adhering to COVID-19 safe practices. We all know this is the 'new normal' but I am so grateful that we have been able to exercise safely since July thanks to everyone's contribution. Our local hall classes remain unchanged for 2021 ie: Bracken Ridge SS, Brighton SS and Fitzgibbon Community Centre..... AWWWYEAHH! On a personal note, I have had to re-evaluate some other classes I teach mainly due to the effects of COVID-19 to local businesses. However on a positive note, I have been offered new opportunities for 2021. These include; more classes through Brisbane City Council's 'Active and Healthy' programmes, Moreton Bay Regional Council's 'Active Holiday's' programmes, Kedron Wavell Services Club K-Fit programme and more... I will continue to update on Facebook but for now, here's a few dates below for Dec & Jan. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and thank you again for your continued loyalty towards small business.
